Maverick has full support for JPEG files, the most common format used at events. RAW and PNG support isn't available yet, but is planned for a future release.

Windows SmartScreen flags installers based on download volume, not safety — as a small independent app, Maverick hasn't built up that history yet. This is expected and doesn't mean anything is wrong with the file. To continue, click "More info" on the blue warning screen, then "Run anyway." If you'd rather verify first, email maverick@eophoto.co.uk and we're happy to confirm.

Your lifetime licence includes a year of free updates. After that, Maverick keeps working, but you'll need to pay £97 for another 12 months of updates if you want the latest features.
